Stock Photography

Got a camera and want to make some serious
cash?!

Stock photography is awesome! I got started out a
year ago and knew nothing about photography,
now im working from home and starting my own
business.

This is one of those things were you really get out
what you put into it.

You probably already have hundreds of photos just
taking up space on your hard drive, start uploading
them to some of these sites below and you could
be making a living off your old vacation photos!

All you have to do is click on one of the links below,
create an account and start uploading your
photos. Each site is a little different, and some will
make you more money than others. Read my tips
below to get started.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions

You can read more of my tips on stock photos
here.

shutterstock.com
If you are serious about making money selling your
artwork/photography you have to sign up at
shutterstock! I make the most money there by far, it
is a little harder to get your work accepted there,
but it is worth your time. Uploading is simple and
review times are very fast.

dreamstime.com
Dreamstime is another great site. I make payout
there almost every month  photos. Its easy to
upload and review times are okay, usually taking 3-
5 days.

fotolia.com
Fotolia is in my top five. Review times are very fast,
they usually start reviewing my photos as soon as
they are submitted.

istockphoto.com
iStock is one of my new favorites. It is very hard to
get accepted there, but if you can sales are good.
I only have a fraction of the photos there, but I still
have regular sales

luckyoliver.com
This one is  definitely  worth checking out.  Great
personal feedback from the reviewers and the
lowest min payout I know of at $25!

bigstockphoto.com
Bigstockphoto is getting better everyday. Payout is
only $30, but sometimes is nice to get smaller
payouts more frequently than a big payout every
six months!

imagecatalog.com
This site has only been around for about a year (i
think) and sales have been pretty slow.  To their
credit, I have contacted support several times and
they were very friendly and helpful.

123rf.com
Sales are  picking up and uploading is really easy so
I would give 'em a try.

crestock.com
Sales are getting better and better and uploading
is fast and easy.

thephotostorage.com
Just signed up with these guys, I will update this
when I get a better feel for the site.

YAYmicro.com
Just signed up with these guys, I will update this
when I get a better feel for the site.

deviantart.com
This is more of a photo sharing site that also sells
photos (to my understanding). I only have a few
pics there and havent sold anything yet.
